34 Going on 17

Is it just me, or could the light in my apartment suck any harder?

One thing this face lacks is an expression.

Whereas this one falls somewhere between "bitch, please" and Wednesday's Child.

Pushing duckmouth. Gotta reign that in.

Seeing God...or in my case, Wedge Antilles. ;)

I do too know how to smile! Lookit! (Smirking counts, right?)

Inspired by the man who calls me his 80s bitch.

Threw this in just for the hell of it.

How do u like the magenta madness pigment...that is one I haven't bought because I wasn't sure ifit was worth it. Thx for sharing the Picts! The 80s bitch picture made me giggle

I have...let's see...three MAC pigments (Magenta Madness, Green Space, and Neo Orange), and so far they've all lived up to their reputation. I'm especially impressed with how true the colors read--you'd think on someone as pale as I am, that wouldn't be a problem, but sadly, I've tossed more eye shadow than I've kept on those grounds. Truth told, I'm weirdly conservative with my makeup, so I don't tend to use pigments as more than an accent or liner. Here, I sort of dry-stippled a little over the purple on my eyelid to intensify it.

 Yeah, it's one way to keep the weight off--use your jewelry as a meal replacement. Nomnomnomnomnom...

Lol yeah cant eat my jewelry cause I don't wear any maybe that would explain why my butt is so big.

I love my pigments I got like 60 or more that I use all the time but for some reason I never grabbed that one haha

Haha--go you! I don't think I have twenty yet; I always seem to buy pigments when I come across a color that's been overlooked in most conventional palettes.

Who makes the best pigments, do you think? MUFE is actually my favorite. They're spendy, and I'm not exactly rolling in it, but I've still managed to amass five. My only problem with them is the same problem I have with any pigment--they stain like a mofo.

Honestly I think Mac is the best at least for me. I like mufe....sugarpill is pretty good...I do not like face front I find they crease faster and dull out....mufe is pretty but as you said pricey.

The only pigments I find that stain my lid are by sugarpill...same wi th their pressed shadows....wait I take that back because macs bright fuchsia and push the edge do leave a lil color ....but honestly I have found soap and water takes care of that lol I wash once with a regular cleanser then once with a gentle face cleanser and boom gone...even the black colors lol

What I do to make my colors stay is usually prime clean lids with either nars smudge proof eyeshadow primer or ud primer potion. Then I use eithershadesticks, Nyx eyeshadow base, Nyx jumbo pencils or a Mac paint pot over the primer Then I put on my pigments and believe me they wont budge....my last rainbow look I did that put it on wore it all day even outside in 95 degree weather watching softball then slept in it woke up cleaned the house went to the gym and then washed it off when I got home and it was still looking almost as if I just put it on. And those colors were all Mac.

MAC has the best color variety, that's for sure. Haven't tried Sugarpill, but it's on my list. Every time I look at the swatches, I have a colorgasm! The stain thing is probably my own fault--my skin is normal, but my eyelids are oily, and that just vacuums the color right into them. But I've found that plain ol' baby oil cuts through the worst of it.

And I love all your looks; they're so fun and gutsy! I prefer someone who isn't afraid to live a little, play with color and technique, over all those no-makeup Jedi mind tricks that are supposed to make you look airbrushed, because they really aren't fooling anybody. (My "natural" look = mascara and my trusty Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker, so...)

Lol lipsmackers I haven't used those years I used to have a ton of them lol. The closest I get to a natural look is a brown smokey eye....I do rainbows and gradients all the time...if I wear the same look more than once a week it's rare.

I'm really glad u like my looks. I like to share and it feels great to know there's other ppl out there that like color and to try stuff. I'm looking forward to see what you come up with when ur camera is p and running...I'm so glad I just got my new one.
